Tuna City Scuba Centre is operated by Chris Dearne(English) PADI MSDT 461992. The dive shop and diving centre is located at Cambridge Farm Hotel in the Southern City of General Santos on the island of Mindanao.

General Santos is the Tuna Capital of the Philippines where every day the Tuna Fleets land their produce where it is passed on to the local and international markets.

Tuna City Scuba Centre is the only diving outlet in the area and can offer some of the best prices for both Dive Tours and Packages and Dive Training.

Much of the diving can be carried out from the shore which removes the added expense of boats. Some sites are only available from the boats but these can be rented at minimal cost.

General Santos is in a very Picturesque Area of the Philippines with a large volcano, Mount Matutum standing like a guard over looking the city.

The area is a melting pot of ethnic diversity and culture with many languages being spoken.

Agriculture is a large part of the local economy with the huge Dole Pineapple plantation dominating the area. Also Pig and Cattle exports are big businesses.

Fish canneries, the fresh export of Tuna and other fish and fish Farms add to the prosperity of the region.
