BEING LOCATED ONLY ABOUT 20 MINUTES DRIVE FROM THE CITY, MAHARLIKA IS A VERY POPULAR SITE FOR BOTH DIVERS AND GENERAL BEACH LOVERS ALIKE.

On the reef itself there are all kinds of life to see starting with very shallow soft corals and colourful reef fish in water which is ideal for snorkelling.

The main reef is only 50 metres from the shore and starts at one end with a huge patch of stag horn corals and then continues with all kinds of soft corals and sponges.

The fish life here is really good as there is a resident shoal of 500+ Yellow Tailed Barracuda, Wrasse, Lion Fish, Puffers, Sea Snakes, Eels of all types and colours, Turtles occasionally, Sharks are rare but the lucky diver can sometimes see one plus there are all kinds of other reef fish, Nudibranchs and shells to see. A night dive here is a must!

TAMPUAN (TINOTO WALL) SITE -Sarangani Bay is a very deep body of water with an average depth of 2,000 meters, 6,000 feet. The wall is located on the mouth of the bay and is a very spectacular with a vertical underwater cliff face that drops away to the depths which are far deeper than the recreational limits. Running for about 10Km., the wall hosts many good sites but currents can be strong at times. South Point Dive Resort is situated at an excellent location on the wall.

Everything can be seen here by the lucky diver from the pods of Dolphins and Pilot Whales at the surface, Napoleon Wrasse, Manta, Eagle and Blue Spotted Sting Rays, Tuna, Jacks ,Turtles, Squid and many other types of fish. The wall is decorated with all kinds of corals with Giant Fans being the main attraction. Night dives here bring out all kinfds of diverse creatures and is highly recommended!
